From CSP
If you enjoy combat simulations (flight simulators, first-person shooters, tanks, helos, etc), we would love to have you as a member of CSP. Currently, CSP consists of a small core of devoted simulation addicts, who value realism and are committed to producing a high quality, free (as in speech), open-source combat simulation environment. Our ultimate goal is extremely ambitious, and we won't ever get there without building a large community that shares a common purpose.
There are many ways to contribute to this project. You don't have to know how to program or design 3D models to make valuable contributions! By simply participating in the discussions on the forums and on this wiki, and sharing your knowledge and/or learning from others you can have a great influence on the development of CSP. There's no official step to joining CSP, except as a developer (see below). But if you think you'd like to contribute (even if it's only a few hours every month), please add your name to the CSP community page. Add a short description of your interests and, if you'd like, create a link to a new page for yourself to provide more details.
If you are willing and able to get your hands a little more dirty, by all means sign up as a developer. Programmers, engineers, physicists, artists, and people with detailed military knowledge are highly valued right now. Just send an email to one of the administrators listed on the project page (http://sourceforge.net/projects/csp) at SourceForge. Make sure to include some background information and what you are interested in working on.
